June 19, 2011: Over 500 Vietnamese Americans gathered to commemorate South Vietnamese Army Day. Afterward, 300 of them marched in an hour-long protest around Seattle’s Little Saigon district.

They called for China to give up claims over the Spratley and Paracel Islands in the East Pacific Sea, Bien-Dong (“South China Sea”). The Vietnamese Coalition of Washington State organized the events.
